cade & cole’s birth story.

emily & justin have been friends of mine for a long time.

she even made our wedding cake!

when i found out in january that they were expecting twins, i was so excited for them!

to say they were just a little surprised to find out TWO babies were on the way, is an understatement.

i think i probably said, “TWINS?!  TWINS???!!!!” over and over when i found out…

when emily and i talked about a birth story, we knew the chances of her having a c-section were high.

so while this isn’t exactly a “birth story” by common definition… i did document them meeting their boys for the first time:

the boys were completely healthy when they were born, but they had them in the NICU for a few hours just as a precaution:

and thanks emily & justin for letting me come and photograph your boys.  i couldn’t stop smiling the entire time i was there!
